Jean-Pierre Gombert
President and Manager of the Cannes office

Jean-Pierre has been involved with group incentive travel programmes since 1986. He began his career with Cadre Noir, one of the major French Incentive Houses based in Paris, before founding French Events in 1993. Jean-Pierre developed the idea, innovative at that time, of creating a Destination Management Company that would focus on inbound visitors. Since then, French Events has gained a reputation for its skill in developing artistic and creative incentive programs. Jean-Pierre opened the French Riviera office in September 1999.

Valérie Tronche
Director of Operations, Cannes

Valérie also started her career at Cadre Noir, where she she organized major incentive travel events such as a medical congress for 6500 people at the Paris Congress Center. At French Events she was responsible for chartered several cruise ships in the Mediterranean for groups of 1000-1200 people, and handled numerous incentive groups in France and abroad. Between 2000 and 2006, Valérie organized the annual “Date Congress” in Paris shared by Synopsys, HP and Sun Microsystems. Valérie ran the group incentive travel programme for Miki Shoji in 1994, 2000, 2003. This comprised 5,120 participants and 18 Gala Dinner events at the Versailles Palace.

Philip Gombert
CEO and Manager of the Paris office

Philip has been in charge of Paris and Northern France incentive travel operations since 1998. Prior to joining French Events, he managed a trucking and bus company and directed a catering group of 18 company restaurants in Paris. These skills in transportation and catering have enhanced the company's overall group incentive travel capabilities. Together with his brother Jean-Pierre, Philip has greatly expanded French Events' coverage within to international markets. They jointly managed a 2,000 guest program to Versailles Palace. They also arranged corporate incentive and meeting programmes for up to 1,500 participants in Paris and in the Loire Valley, Champagne, Burgundy and Normandy regions.

Gilbert Molinari
Director of Sales

Gilbert has more than 20 years experience in the field of incoming tourism in France. Before joining French Events he served as the General Manager of an international DMC, based in Paris. He has extensive knowledge of the European market in general, and Italy in particular, directed towards tour operators and incentive houses. He has the skills to organize a wide scope of activities - ranging from events for 3,500 people to very demanding and exclusive incentives for 20 people, with particular attention to budgets.
